    Margo Hogan '70

    Margo was nominated for her heart of gold!
    She gave of her time and caring heart
    to find the owner of a FHS rings
    she found at the beach after
    Hurricane Ike.

    Margo went to Lamar, graduated in 1974 and
    started her teaching job that fall.
    She taught for 29 years and retired in 2003.

    She has one brother and he and his family still
    live in Beaumont. She still keeps in contact with
    some of her friends from elementary through high school.

    Margo enjoyed going to the beach as much as possible
    until IKE hit. She has an entrepreneurial spirit.
    Besides teaching she has created a line of photo
    greeting cards, before they became popular;
    a health and fitness board game that went no nowhere!
    Margo and another teacher, had a gourmet
    popcorn and gift basket business.
    Now she has an antique booth in the Dallas Ft.Worth area,
    where she has lived since 1975.

    Margo's hobbies are: Hiking, fishing, mowing :-),
    going to flea markets and estate sales;
    always looking for that special treasure.
